    She was not the only one I saw. Must have passed about 10 scooters along Thorndon and I would say only one had any kind of protection.

    It never fails to amaze me, the stupidity of some of the scooter riders out there.
    i had a lad in last night....young guy, late teens maybe....on "mums" lovely light pink nifty. took him about 20 mins to work out how to open the gas cap, lol. [even i couldnt get it]

    but yeh....the number of poorly dressed kids on scoots is nuts....like that one girl the other night in bright red fluffy elmo slippers [you know, the thing from sesame street that harrassed rove recently] in saying that though, i ride in the same sorta stuff in the summer.
