Indeed. It's not fit enough to make beer out of so it's piped to Auckland as city supply.

Stella or Corona, maybe if I'm feeling cheap then Heineken. But I was forced to drink tap beer, and Lion Red at that, at a party a couple weeks ago. Very demeaning to sell ones soul like that.

Beer: Tui or Waikato, almost anything free (cant even drink free Lion Red less I'm realllly thirsty)
Poncy beer: Monteiths Radler, Wanaka Beerworks Cadrona Gold (OMFG hard to find!), Sol/Corona + lime
Wine: Never really likes reds, will drink some whites but not much outside of Reisling / Ice wine
Spirits: If its straight? any decent Vodka or scotch, i'f I'm mixing, its bourbon (Fighting Cock and Heaven Hill are good imo)
Liquors: Havn't found anything I wont drink yet.. But especially Glayva, Drambuie, Kahlua, Baileys, Orange Contreau, Absinthe, Malibu & Midori. Honourable mention also to Liquer Galliano which I never buy myself but am always happy to drink when my parents have a bottle

Gotta agree there, though the bottle of Rum we tend to win in the raffle on Waiheke on Anzac day is always good Mount Gay I think it was a shame though as when we opened it someone dropped the cap and stood repetativaley on it so we had to down it there and then........ sunset routine tanked with the vets was interesting!

EDIT and many a good night on Robart and Butlers Artillery port! Though cracked a bottle of $80 port with my uncle and that went down oh so well!

Damn right! Though there's a fine line between a "nice mix" and a "nasty mix". Found that one out last Friday night.
