Rainwater, that has passed through a peat swamp on the isle of Islay, that has been used to ferment malted barley, barley that has been toasted by fires of peat harvested from the same swamp, the ensuing wort then distilled in hand-hewn copper stills, the distillate then decanted into toasted sherry wood casks and stored in warehouses near the sea for 15 years, before being bottled and shipped. Taken orally with just a splash of mineral water. Exquisite.

    But Laphoraigh as first choice.

Although Bourbon and coke as a cheap slosh-down-throat at rallies is not too bad if it's 8%.
