They arent likely to be reasonable if anger escalates. Findout what the real issue is maybe?

To answer the question...

Try everything reasonable, try to resolve it, but if the chips keep falling the other way.... escalate it.

Tell them to keep their friends out - and you'll keep your friends out. Tell them you don't want to reduce things to a glass topped carpark.

I hate to say it, but might is right. When the law is incapable of resolving things, and decency (or otherwise) on both parts fails... him with the biggest bang wins... either by threat demonstration or application.

The Threat generally leads to an arms race though - as history has (hopefully) taught us...

Sorry Sarge but I am unclear exactly what the issue is, are the neighbours hassling your kids or damaging your property?
Are they threatening your family or just being wankers?
Is it time for a KB 'party' at your place? Im in, can I bring my large and scary friends?

Edit: you could always try the mediation route and try to settle the dispute amicably, so all parties can go home as friends and have a hangi and a beer together. It should only take a couple of years and several thousand dollars for consultation with local iwi and stuff.

no Mack.. they are definatly threatening and damaging.. thats why i put the fence up.. i tried mediation over several years..didnt work..at least my big mate is still helping out ...
