    ** SPOILER** Wgtn v BOP

Is that the worst game of rugby you've seen for years or what?

Any poor bar steward who paid to go watch that shit deserves to get their money back, and the players should give their weeks wages back to the union.

3-3 at half time, 6-6 with 30 secs to go and wgtn plop over for a try to win by 5. More knock-ons, lost balls and aimless kicking than I've ever seen in a first-class game.

Wellington vs BOP has traditionally been a crap game. I've always wondered why, but can't come up with a good reason. I just avoid watching those games now.

Watched Aeon Flux instead. Much better. And I'm a Wellington fan.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

ain't that the bloody truth. Something to be said for the quality of the opposition making the team rise to the occasion.

Which Canterbury team? The one with all the cantabrians in it? Cantabrians are just like engineers... they go to uni there for a couple of years and all of a sudden they're born and bred cantabs!!

Yep Wellington played like crap. It was still a good night at the stadium. We sat in between Wgtn College and Viard boys - chanting, taunts - even a bit of fisty cuffs (not me). It was funny to watch even if the game was crap...
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the evening,
    we will remember them
