So you keep saying and yet your retorts say otherwise. In fact, the only posts you make are in defense of what people generally think of the police in NZ.

The only reason I post alot about police stuff is because there is so much incorrect information spouted as fact by members and I am in a position to offer them the truth. If they don't want to accept it as the truth thats their business but at least someone has tried to educate them.

You very rarely get yourself involved in any other topic or discussion. I would go as far as to say that you find it therapeutic to vent on here about a job that, deep down, troubles you.

Actually I do post in other threads, perhaps you just don't read them because you are always reading the police threads and deep down in side you'd love to be one of us.

By nature of a regimented regime, your environment is not conducive to self awareness and individuality. You are the sum total of what they want you to be and believe. The ineffectiveness of the Police caused by a misguided Government is sugar coated and you are made to believe that the agency is effective and that you make a difference.

Actuall Mr Assumption coming from a person of your attitude sitting on the outside, trying hard to look in, your opinions are hardly objective. There is no way you can know anything of note about, my work environment, the sum of what the employer wants the employee to believe or what I personally believe in terms of the effectiveness of the police or whether I personally have or can make any difference to any person I have contact with.

As a tax payer (minimal at that) I would suggest that you probably should care what I and many others think. There seems to be a deep seeded arrogance with the NZ public service where they forget what it is we pay them to do.

How are the suppressors working on the bushmasters? A wonderful method of realistic training... muzzle heavy during training and a different feel when you get to shoot outside the South Auckland police range.

Why did the police have to build that indoor range???
Oh, that's right - they kept getting kicked out of all the other ranges around Auckland - including military ones, due to the damage being caused...

I would have thought there would be a pretty good chance that it would exit being that it was fired from pretty close range. FMJ rounds don't deform too much, not like hydra shock..... nasty stuff.
