    Arrow Well.

Aussie got their just desserts IMO. All this whinging about the haka, they took their eye off the game and got beaten fair and square...

It was a damn good game too. No chance to cry about the ref (who did a fairly good job - only missed a couple), they can't cry about Richie 'cheating' (the ref was on his ass like white on rice) and they can't cery about the haka (Coz it was Ka Mate).
The thing that I will moan about is the Australian team warming up after the national anthems etc. Not because it was disrespectful to the haka or anthems but because the game is scheduled to kick at a ceertain time. If club teams piss around in the sheds too much the ref will start the game with a penalty. Why was that not applied last night?

That new haka is great, the throat cut move is hilarious!

But it isn't adequate. A challenge on a rugby field should remain that.

Don't be disrespectful to the opposition by gesturing such offensive threats.
If the throat cutting was removed, I think that haka would be far more respectable and as a reulst, enjoyed by more than just New Zealanders.

I gotta agree. I like the new haka but the final gesture could be taken the wrong way, especially if you put it into the context of expanding the game globally. I think they should remove it but quietly and not at anyone's insistence.

So change our culture to make it more acceptable to the world public, does that mean it is still our culture or have we gone that PC these days that non conforming cultures are to be censored?
