Oi, wot you doin' in London town then. Get over here where the roads are open and the traffic laws punitive (speed limit on a motorway is 62.5mph!).

Spent 5 of the best years of my life getting drunk/laid in London.

    Welcome to KB.

    Welcome to KB.
Must admit Jim something that suprised me in N.Z. was how slow the traffic seemed to be moving. Here the speed limit on motorways and dual-carriageways is 70 m.p.h.,do that and you`ll get steam-rollered,except when everyone slows down for the cameras more usually normal speed is about 90 for traffic in the outside lane and ton plus speeds are not exceptional.I regularly hit 120(that`s m.p.h.,not k.p.h.)on the main road into Plymouth and if there are people coming back from Paignton bike night(very popular bike meet about 30 miles from here)that`s the kind of speed most of the sportier stuff will be hitting along the 20 miles of straight road heading into the city on the trip back.Old hands know where to slow down because the police lurk way back in the slip-roads ready to pounce and the camera vans only work office hours so by 5 they`re gone as well.

    Hey moko.

I used to drive a 1.4 seat Ibiza in the UK and regularly went from Stevenage to Glasgow in under 4 hours.

Now I've got a Mitsubishi FTO with bags more power and all I'm allowed to do is tickle it - I've never yet really opened it up.

Just recently moved to bikes coz always wanted one but the UK bike licencing laws were just too weird to comprehend.

160kph just ain't that fast when you've lived in europe.
In space, no one can smell your fart.
