Scooters don't count. I've had 8 (over 50kph) crashes in 18 months on a bike
And you fuckers give me shit for my 3 in 3 years?
And only two where I was at fault.
This is an extremely encouraging thread for anyone thinking about purchasing their first Motorcycle.
Assuming that you follow tradition, you'll have a new bike by the end of this year, Dover.Originally Posted by The_Dover
No no. Insurance will pay out on another wrecked thou, Dover can put his arse back on a comfy seat instead of renting it out on K Rd and he wont have to sell the 750. Sounds like a perfect solution to me.Originally Posted by swanny

Some of you guys really need to stop riding, or learn how to ride correctly or you ride along with your eyes shut or something.
In 10 years of riding only one small off. And i know alot of people who 10-20+ years with out problems
BTW Crashing on a track i know is different than the road, going around a track means sooner or later you will meet tarmat, i am more talking about road
awesome photo texmo
The faster you are the more you crash.Originally Posted by Cajun

or stoned
or just plain stupid (as is the case with my 2 big offs)
nah....I don't believe that to be true at all....some people just arn't as switched on as others....heaps of slow people crash....a hand full of fast people crash....but not as many....TS.DSS3,loosebruce.....are just bad examples to be using...infact TS shouldn't even be used as an example, coz he ain't really fastOriginally Posted by Mental-Trousers

I know a few really really fast boys from around this way. And they haven't crashed in 10+ years, some use to race in early-mid 90'sOriginally Posted by Mental-Trousers
You crash cause 9/10 you did something wrong. And this happens with people who are slow and fast,
But if you aren't paying as much attention as you should be doing silly stuff/show boating you are more likley gonna crash more, and those fall in to the 'you did something' wrong area.
ive had....
car infront was moving into the median to turn right went way out....i starting to approach on the left...suddenly no indicating they swung hard left into thier driveway...went flying over thier bonnet....resulting in my elbow breaking and not ever being able to straighten my arm fully ever again.....cops decided mine and cagers fault....
a bus cut a corner while i was appraching a give wya heading straight at me i jusmped off the bike and the bus drove over it....bus drivers fault...
and last but not least...women was going same direction as me in the lane to my left slightly staggered ahead.....no indicating pulls a u turn....managed to slow down a fair bit so only hit at maybe 20 kph..(not like i was looking at speedo) and i got thrown up in the air landed on my feet running backwards.....looking at my bike going ka thunk onto it's side...
the 50 school girls at the bus stop didn't help just sat there laughing at me.... car driver drove off....
went back next day...tracked her down got her details...cops recently decided it was her fault....sent out letters.....then a week later (about 2 days ago ) the cops call up and say the storys don't match so we are revoking it you have to goto small claims....i was like ffs....the battle still rages on eh. ugh damn cagers.
thats one of the most stupid things I have heard. People crash on the track because they push, I push on the road...Originally Posted by Cajun
I don't crash, I 'learn'. I've 'learnt' 5 times so far this year. All on the track but. Screw crashing on the road, that shit will kill ya.
