    I went for a ride the day after picking up my bike, and I hadn't even paid for it! Before the start of the ride, I had a grand total of 1 1/2 hrs on it... Was a right nana, but you learn quick out on the road! Pushing within reason of course...

    Welcome to KB, hope you enjoy the new bike. If you haven't already then get yourself a mentor from the site and they can help you get into some good riding habits and maybe teach you a couple of useful things.

    Thanks MackTheKnife, I'm a great believer of taking advantage of other peoples experiences and learning from their mistakes! And of course, heeding their sage advice....now if only I could work out how to join that group as a newbie!

    Oookay ... today I will be going to the Coromandel and picking up my sweet little beastie. Bought some motorcycle tie-downs for the old trailer and stashing my gear!

    I can't wait till I'm buzzing around on it - first gotta drop off a friend to Paeroa and then heading on to the pot of gold at the end of the rainbow

    I'll get some updated photos of it when I've washed and polished it! Hope all you guys and gals out there have some good, safe riding today!
