    Changing tyre

Hi, I was thinking about getting a new set of tyres for my bike, would I be able to get a 180/55-17 onto a rim that had a 130/70-17?

I'm sure you could get it on, but getting it seal safely may be a different story. Then if you did get it on and safely inflated, I do believe that the handling would be 5H!T.

In other words, don't even contemplate it.

probably - but you possibly could not fit the wheel back on your bike 'cos the chain would go through the tyre and besides - it would handle like shite and you would look plain silly.
