You may need to check the rules Vic club run as to weather changing to a 17' rim on that bike would be within the 'Streetstock' rules if thats your plan.
    I would think not.

Baaa, its it strictly policed? I doubt it, recon it would be sweet unless someone like yourself was to make an issue about it

Hi, thanks Freakshow. Sorry to muck u round but I have had to reconsider fitting 17inch wheels to my KR....
It is against the rules of the class i wish to race the bike in, unfortunatly.
I will have to stay with the 18inch rims currently on the bike, pretty gutted as i dont have the the same rubber options as other 150s in the class.
OH WELL, will just have to try (read slide) harder i guess...
    Thanks anyways dude.

I have tried to start some discussion about options in this other thread Allan. From post (#103)

I run a Dunlop TT900 18" rear. It has been mentioned they don't make them anymore. so I don't know what the story is there yet. They must replace them with Something surly?!

Also Bridgestone BT39ss are good in the 18" size. I run a BT39ss on the front which works fine in the dry despite being old, cracking and worn.

    just to let you know.

We have the 2 vic club bikes. One rg150 and one kr150. Both run Bridgestone BT39SS tyres. No problems getting those for the 18" kr rims.
