    Arrow 2-fiddy time!!

Alright guys, some of you may have overheard that i was considering a dyno run of my little wee 250.

I rang up Red Baron today to get the ball rolling and they said it'll cost $30...no appointment needed apparently.

Anyways ive put my name down to stretch the old gal's legs on Saturday 5th of August - just for a bit of a laugh really. So i was wondering if any others would be interested on coming down(or up) aswell...nothing serious...just would be cool to see what others are 'putting out'. I was thinking around 11am but will depend on how many bikes are interested as Red Baron closes at 2pm on Saturdays, so cant have anyone missing out!!

I'm keen for guys with tuned 250's or with modified cans to turn up aswell to see the benefits of such a mod. Would prefer to keep it to 250's or less cos we all know that theres bikes with more out there , hence why i've posted here instead of in the 'meetings and events' forum.

All you have to do is bring $30 plus a bike that'll hold together for a run on the dyno. If that sounds like you than put a post down...i dun wana hear any "she's running on three" excuses either...ive reserved that one.

That's awesome rookie. I'll come down with you. Assuming I can get there in time before it shuts. oh and assuming my bike can make it there as well.

    Nice one

Buddy L got 34hp from his old zxr, he had an after market can.

Would be cool if anyone else who has run their bike before could share what they got.

there's a bit of a bigger (and tad pricier) do in October at the Henderson shop.. if you really want.

I've had my bike on the Red Baron dyno, and I think it's a little optimistic.. The Henderson run is $80 in early Oct some time (really should read better)

yea, the henderson dyno is much newer and more accurate...but i'm not gona pay $80 to run a 250 for fun...or wait for october.

So in other words it's a waste of $30? and I could spend it on other things...like $30 petrol or beer?

I guess it's no point if it's not going to give you a result that's even remotly meaningful.

it said my bike only had 92hp and topped out at 240kmh... i've seen 265kmh on the speedo so there is some sort of discrepency.

The henderson dyno is the latest model dynojet dyno so will be far more accurate, my bike will be hitting it when i take it in for a real good tune.
