    Kiwi Rider dyno shootout

Is your GSXR1000 more powerful than your mate’s R1? Are you confident enough to front up and find out?

On Sunday 1st October Kiwi Rider will be holding the first in a regular series of dyno shootouts at Henderson Motorcycles, Henderson, Auckland. The recently installed bike specific dyno is state of the art and is the most accurate of its type in Australasia. Trade stands, mobile coffee and a sausage sizzle will all feature on the day together with various giveaways. There will be prizes for the highest and lowest horsepower figure, best presented bike and worst presented bike. Those bikes with a turbo or NOS system fitted are especially welcome.

Places, which are strictly limited and are on a first come first served basis, will cost $80. To book your spot, e-mail Chris on chris@kiwirider.co.nz or call 09 416 5307.

Bring your mates and let the bragging commence!

Now back to the thread: I already know my R1 only makes 23.5hp....but the good news is I can get 450km's to a tank of gas and 30,000km's out of a set of Pilot Powers.
