    OK Folks,

At this stage (unless there is heavy rain) the ride will be going ahead as planned................

I cannot promise that it wont rain, however the forecast is in our favour at this stage it should be clearing up and with this brisk SW coming through it may pass over faster than expected.........(so to explain, most of the crap weather should of passed already..)

Just a couple of things to note tonight:

    1. Medium - High Winds
Its blowing strongly over on the North Shore and remember a good portion of the ride is over here. Also take into consideration that we do ride amongst the valleys, so expect downdrafts/higher winds than in the city

    2. Holiday Traffic
Some of the roads we will take tonight are known to other road users - Cages included. A couple of roads are known as short-cuts to the North so the roads may be heavier than previous nights.

    3. Longer Ride Tonight
Please make sure you fill your bike up at Westgate or where ever, expect to do around 90-120kms tonight. If you dont wish to ride that far we will have two groups split off at Dairy Flat as per a normal night.

Thanks for allowing the Scottish nana on a 250 along for the evening - nice ride - shame about the weather. Since I got seriously pissed on from the heavens on the way home too I am presuming it (the rain) followed me home and you fellas got lovely dry weather for the rest of the evening?

see y'all next time I get the chance to cross the bridge.

Yep a great ride..... enjoyed myself tonight, even thou it rained in patches.

Some git flashed their lights in a white van..... so I warned all the riders that were coming up from behind me.... damn it there was no one there awaiting for us.
(for those not knowing: when you get the hand doing a huge circle in the air it means cop ahead)

Did pass one copper going the other way early on in the ride thou.
(It was a proper cop car)
