[QUOTE=sl1nky;969536]4 since ive been riding on it. - start beginning of december last year.
i was one of them....
you can tell which corner it is cause i still have my pride stuck on the fence there somewhere.![]()
wasnt going fast at all but still managed $7500 worth of damage to the tlr.
was only going fairly slow(recomended speed) but had the wrong line comeing into the corner,
as i was nearly up to the apex there was a landcruiser that had come up and was wanting to turn right into that driveway.
it was either put my head into the front of the truck or go off the road.
as soon as i hit the grass the front end went down.
pissed me off cause ive takin that corner faster and been fine.
its all part of learning i guess, ive only been riding since november and having a accident is all part and parcel of it.
most of the guys that are good riders have had accidents. makes you abit more aware of what you are doing for the next time.
ill be there this thrusday with my new bike,

Whilst that may be true, the rider being taught has to understand that they are not as skilled as those who are teaching them. There's a few noobies around at the moment who seem to think they're gods gift to biking, and need to learn a bit of modesty before they can really start learning from their betters.
Not that I'm saying I'm that skilled myself![]()

IMHO me being a rider of only 3 months i was starting to get a little cocky myself and was pushing my bike in the same way.
im 28 and i dont mind taking advise from someone who is better/more experienced than me even if there younger.
me binning my pride and joy a month ago in front of all my peers was definining moment when i realised im not as good as i thought in fact i felt like a complete tool.
lucky it was only a low speed crash but it still made me step back and look at how i was riding up to that point.
alot of young guys eg mark dont really care to much about A: there bike B: them selves
not having a go at mark but the guys young and wants to have a bike that does warp 9.
maybe guidence and time might keep him from killing himself.
All I am willing to say is that I know what's up with Mark, and he needs patience and guidance - not continued streams of abuse. Believe it or not he's doing his best.
As with all of us he'll listen to those he respects. Anyone wanting to be listened to might want to consider a change of approach.
