Scattered rain clearing tomorrow except for showers about Great Barrier Island. Becoming fine elsewhere in the afternoon. Southeasterlies, gale in exposed eastern areas easing.

Will make the call tomorrow arvo, no later than 5pm.

Weather is expected to stay like this. So it'll be fairly cold, but dry and clear.

Meet 6:30 Shell Westgate. Leave at 7.

Now I just need to wangle me a bike for the ride...

quite the opposite my friend!
more speed = more stable.
you should know that

old north road was dry, some of the corners near the end were COVERED with pine needles though.
peak road the same exept less pine needles.

Nice to finally meet you guys, I'm keen on the next 1, Maybe I'll keep up with the pack if I don't forget to fill my gas before hand haha I was on 254km on my tank when I arrived at westgate and didn't even realise
