Aaaahr, sounds like the last couple of rides have been good!

Couldn't make the last one, I was in a Helo off the west coast & we were testing the new door gun.

Off to do the coro loop.

Owww Thats mean! give the old girl a brake, she's 13 years old and has to put up with me twisting her tit every time we go out. Anyway she's not broken, she's just getting a new coat of paint and some rubber, She'll be back, all tarted up in a month or 3

They don't break down even going hard.
Reliability through superior technology and design.
A good example; Honda outboards guaranteed for five years even if used for racing.
Honda designers....... there ain't half been some clever bastards.

Yip. I used to be a dealer for Honda outboards. Fantastic engines. Everyone within the dealer network totally swears by them and backs the warranty.

    word of warning.

There is the possibility that there may be a random licence/registration checkpoint in the albany area this evening.

Well Kim Newcombe did it, have a go Keith!
So when Yamaha were bringing out the RD's, Suzuki the T250, X7 etc, Honda gave us the.....CD350...real, wrist snapping elbow cracking piece of machinery that one. Maybe all the edgier engineers went to the outboard division?

    Oh c'mon - play fair.
Honda did have some decent two-smoke engines, but I think they were reserved for their racebikes.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

And even in Hondas domain, the 4 strokes, they were beaten to the punch on dohc street bikes by Suz (GS750) and Kwaka (Z1, Z900, GPZ's)

    True.
I was going to mention what a milestone the CB750/4 was, but it was so rapidly eclipsed by Kawasaki (their 900's AND the various two-smoke triples) that there didn't seem to be any point.
