why was the ride so much shorter? Was it to fit in with the bbq?

I agree. But one of the "cops" owned me up the river head highway on a tight corner tonight.

Hopefully Troy will put some of his awesome collection of bikes on show including:

    • A nice selection of 250 2-strokers (NSR, TZR and RS)
    • A couple of RZ500's
    • One Mint RC30 (VFR750)
    • Extremely tidy RZ250
    • Cute little NSR80

Shame the NR750 went to its new owner..... However it sounds like a 2009 Vmax will be on the ride.
at last, some real bikes...shame im not gonna be there

    Hey guys,

The ATNR gets bagged from time to time and although I am sure those that put it all together get that they are appreciated, I for one would like to put it on record.

From QkChk to Morcs to Stranger and through to GunnyRob, KiwiGraham to name just a few that contribute their time and passion each week.

I hope you guys get the Karma returned to you over Christmas and a few people putting hands on your backs for a job well done.

I don't know too many people here and have probably missed a whole bunch that deserve full Kudos.... perhaps others can help me out, because there are lots that make this a great ride. Frosty for a start for pulling so many out of ditches and others for just providing entertainment pulling wheelies!!!

Thanks guys... your time efforts and smiles are fully appreciated.

I had a fun time last night, but then I do every ATNR. Have a great Christmas all!!!!

Well done people. Only the one dropped bike (who would of thought a Ninja 250R could wheelie?) with minimal damage.... Otherwise a well behaved pack of riders. 3/4 of the 40+ bikes were ATNR newbies.

Big ups to Troy and the boys at Motoworld in Albany. Put on a good feed (mmm cheesy sausage, dont be filty minded and some steaks) and eyecandy on display (yummy RC45). Some of the KB guys gave us a bit of entertainment, slow racing scooters and even at one stage a R6 vs 3 scooters. Big ups to Chris who borrowed a certain 'Busa and left a lasting reminder out the front of the shop. (For those who buggered off early - there was another ring joined to the first)

It sounds like Troy is keen to have another BBQ early next year - so watch this space!

1,2,3. Out the front of the shop
    4. Eye Candy - RVF750 (RC45) with only 2000kms. Sorry has been sold!
    5. Troy doin kitchen bitch duty

Sorry to have missed the BBQ by the time we had Jason's KTM sorted we got back there and everyone had gone

Nothing too serious on the KTM just a battery, seems its fallen apart somewhere inside so a new one today will cure the problem.

Good to get the old girl out and stretch her legs again I had forgotten how much work (and fun) the twisties are on a 3 ton truck

Great ride though and I will attend more in the new year

oh yeah, and a Merry Christmas to everyone
