Well worth it if your feeling it on the day, although haven't been over in donkeys so don't know condition of it at the moment.

Looking to gas up & smoke a durrie at Wellsford, Dargaville, Opononi, Kaikohe, then it's anyone's guess from there - depending on how the day is going.

Experienced riders only please, this is a 550km day & I don't plan on stopping other than the above gas points (and the big fuck-off tree).

I'll not be held responsible for the actions of others and if there's more than a couple of us the usual applies. Tossers who like pulling mono's in traffic jams need not apply.
Well, just back from a few days "camping" and the weather looks good for Wednesday but even better for Thursday. Bumpity-bump.

Are you guys going to go up SH12 from the Brenderwyns to Dargaville or up to Whangarei and then across to Dargaville? If i am lucky I might be able to skive of work for it and come along - if you don't mind.

That SH12 is bloody boring, innit? I've only just recently become familiar with the Brynderwyn Hills and think that's a much betterer idea. Turning off at Oakleigh then going through Maungakaramea to get to Dargaville looks interesting. You fancy meeting us at Oakleigh & giving us a bit of a guided tour? I could TXT when we leave Wellsford, 45 mins away.

You would be best to take 12 to Paparoa and then come up Paparoa/Oakleigh highway to Maungakaramea - I believe the Maungakaramea to sh14 piece is gravel - not sure how long it is gravel and my bike doesn't do gravel roads to well lol (I could be wrong though I have never been through there that is second hand knowledge). Alternately, come around from Maungakaramea to main highway and shoot across Otaika Valley Road to Maungatapere (Great Cafe there) then across to Dargaville that way.

Give me a text 021515199, i don't know at this point if I can get off work yet

The Cafe in Maungatapere sounds like a good idea - I'm yet to find anything that scores above 4/10 on the food front in Dargaville. I'll TXT you at Wellsford just after 10.00 to see how you're getting on with the Academy Award(tm) performance.

    Keen as bey,

I have to get my headlight aimed up as I had to remove it to pull off the gay ass screen that my bike came with.

Also my wife is due to pop out our first baby. No contractions by 1900 and im off.
