dont like TRAFFIC police
Ive been trying that mindset for ages now, but some still dont listen.......... At the briefing I have always warned about speeding on the ATNR "Do so at your own risk" but unfortunately some dont take this on and then suffer the consequences. What can you do? The ATNR can be highly enjoyable even at legal speeds so I dont know what all the fuss is about................

I lost my licence and i havent riddin all month!!!- YEAH RIGHT
good to see everyone at the pub....decided not too ride this ride has too much cop attention now and with my 95 demerits i'm not keen on going into a bears cave and poking it with a stick...while it's hybernating.
anyways after heading home from nsr-dans place....saw a massive accident on the motorway inbetween market road and greenlane southbound...silver car overturned massive side damage and on it's roof.
2 marked cop cars one undercover all with lights going....a fire truck...not sure if there was an ambo or not...
cops talking to a bunch of guys...
just woke me up to what happens when something goes wrong... first major accident ive passed has shaken me up a bit...maybe what i need to sort out my riding...seeing it on the tv ad woke me up a bit but seeing it for real ...yeah feels weird.... i want to know what happened though as it was a straight... unless they were being chased by police and tyre blow out or something...or police rammed them?...could have been any multitude of things i don't want to make assumptions. if any attending officers on here or cops in the know are able to give me a rough idea?
well will see what happens will most likely see you all next week...
and luke if you like i can keep your bike you know errr running for you?
logged on here to find out time for todays run at... 6.50pm perfect.
oh well, next time

Just wanted to say gidday to those of you that were at the Shell Westgate last night about 6.40pm. I think it was "Crashe" that followed me up the end of the northwestern into the gas station as I needed to get gas. I was on Honda VTR250 (my commuter bike). One of these days I will come along for the ride if I can get home quick to bring out the SV. I am always on my way home from work when I see you guys. Next time will stop and say gidday in person. Hope you guys had a good ride without too much law trouble.
Plenty of 250's on the ride too, no real need to change bikes cause this ride is nice and cruisey if thats what you want.
Yeah sorry I didn't stop... I was going too, but perhaps became a bit shy and just rode on home. Yeah would rather ride my SV1000S as I get bored riding the 250 since I ride it everyday to work and back... perhaps I am just spoilt with the choice. But yeah will make the effort to leave work earlier and go home and get the SV and come and meet up with you guys within the next few weeks.
Yep that was me 'following' you up the motorway.
You ride well amongest the cars.
Next time stop and say gidday at the meet up place...
Oh and you should have come on the ride...... there are always other 250's on the ride...
We did see a HP copper on Kaikaitea Flat Road (I can never spell that word)
He was going the opposite direction to us..... so no problems with the law at all last night.... No incidents.
We did manage to loose one rider for a short time..... but he showed up again coming in from a different road that we came from...
A great night riding..... The lads had me leading the pack at the begining to keep everyone at the correct speed... gee aint that nice of them.... then Devil decided to overtake me... hmmmmmm I wasnt going to let him for a wee while... poor buggar wondered what was going on
Great company at the pub...... and I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.
