From next Thursday (2nd Oct), we will have an 'Adventure' option to the ATNR.

This option is recommend for Adventure / Trail / Motard style bikes or whoever wants to get some practice riding on gravel roads. This will be done at YOUR own risk. As gravel can be sometimes unpredictable (Just like the rest of the ride)

There will more info about the roads included in the usual Pre-Ride Briefing.

    How the ride works:
    • Joins the ATNR group for part of the first section but will remain at the back of the pack
    • Follow the main bunch of 'Road' ATNR riders to a certain point in the ride
    • 'Adventure' peels off onto some gravel roads
    • We meet back up at the usual halfway point
    • Carry on with part 2 of the ride as per normal

As the group turnout increases, I will look at alternative routes and if number get large, maybe an alternate night to the ATNR.

Who's keen? Morcs? Gunnyrob? The Stranger? Who else has gravel sliders out there?

    Ta
Im in. I reckon we'd have at least 5 if its warm enough for Steve.

Hopefully will attract some other adventure riders that wouldnt do the normal ATNR.

At my current work rate it'll be a year before mine is on the road... may remain off road only.

We talking about the Pan?? What have you done to it now.

I really dont think that should go off road, last time it did on the ATNR didnt it take about 4 guys to get it back on the road

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

Ha ha ha ha no I'm talking about my XL250.
I passed on the turbo'd 600. The guy selling that reckon it could peel the blocks off knobblies on sand. Now that bike could have been fun.

Wait and see. Probably rebuild - it's front and RHS plastics that got crunched. All else seems intact but she has a few kms on it - I might replace it with a lower mileage model etc.

What do you need - I have some spares in my shed anyway...! (Forks, seat... etc)

Thumbs up No rain on my radar

Its all good for tonight..........Ive got new set of Conti's on the bike that need a scrubbin! Thanks to Troy and the guys @ Motoworld for sorting me out.

Have had a few enquires regarding tonights ride - So it sounds like we should have a really good turnout! This will be the last 'Official' Ride in the dark before Daylight Savings kicks in this Sunday.

Ive also heard rumours that we may have some 'Southern Goat-track' riders attending tonight as well.........
