    Very lethal combo.
JSG was the same, and while HE COULD ride properly he CHOOSE noto.
You are going the same way. You'll get off with SAYING you'll give someone the learn. But DOING is another thing.
On this ride, you really dont need to even pass, depending where abouts in the pack you are.
But take note to everything that is said.
You may think it was safe, but when 4 or 5 other EXPERIANCED riders say its not, you've got to start to think.
Your stunts are getting good tho. Just remeber to be courtise to other riders.

taking my advise thats good to hear.
my rules for riding on the open road as follows.

here is your mission if you chose to except it is.

1# never pass on a corner!!!!
2# never pass while still in the same lane as someone else
3# make sure their is at less 100m infront of the person that you are trying to pass of clear road( eg road code)
4# open road is never a race, time and a place for that
5# keep your distance behind the rider infront of you.
if these simple rules are aplyed then their is nothing that people can get mad at you for. im sure their are others that people will tell you other things as well so listen to them.
Just remember like i tell you, it isn't your riding thats the problem, its the decission that you make while riding.

Crash has a good point mark never pass anyone on the inside its a golden rule Just play by the rules otherwise you know what willl happen okies now mark why do you not pass on the inside, the answer is because the person can change their line at anytime and take you out or you take them out. NO BUTTS

just dropping a note to say thanks to the guys and girls who organise this thing.First ride out last night and was great, definitely something to look forward to during the week.
needs a bit of practice though, lineing up corners in the dark on roads i don't really know proved interesting, don't know if it was the tidiest bit of riding i've done.
    cheers

The rider at the end of the pack.
To be there to pick up the bits an pieces and bodies
So that slower riders are not stranded or lost out there on the roads on a group ride.

There is always/usually a leader and TEC on any organised rides.

Is the purpose of having a T.E.C to ensure a responsible individual is in a position to come across a situation and deal with it, such as an accident, mechanical failure or otherwise? Or am I confused and it is a role on a group ride given to the clowns as a punishment?
