cbr250rr speedo light

hi.i just took my bike for a ride last night and noticed that only half the speedo is lit up.like you can only read the speed under say 50kph and above that you cant read the speed until you come under a street light.
so question is,are there two bulbs in speedo and one is blowen or is the bottom half of speedo getting light from another source in the instrument panel?
is it an easy job to replace?or should i go to the dealer i bought from and ask them to do it?

Perhaps this is some kind of intentional speed limiting device -- or perhaps you just don't want to know how fast you're going if you're exceeding the speed limit, knowing what police are like here...

hmm.to clarify...the light doesnt go off after 100kph its just that the needle has moved up to a dark part of the speedo as there is only light down the bottom of the speedometer possibly coming from the instrument panel(neutral light etc)...

fixed it.there are two bulbs on the speedo.top and bottom.
top was blowen
