    Shrek - gutted

Still, it has to be better than the video of the Yank having his head cut off - not a flash way to cark it

    WTF??!?!?

Spot the guy who doesn't have a tv. Who is Shrek the Sheep, and why does anyone care if he lives or becomes lamb chops?

Secondly since when has NZ been so squemish as to have a problem with slaughtering animals. Isn't this the farming country? I mean it's not like they showed the video of the Russian soldier having his throat slit like a pigs, before being beheaded. We're talking about a sheep. Hundreds killed dayly to provide us with meat.

To quote Jackrat - "If God didn't want us eating animals he wouldn't have made them out of meat". I have no problems with how the meat on my plate got there and where it came from. I'd love to know how many of those complaints were from carnivors(sp?).

Or made them stupid enough for a slower less hardy animal (humans) to catch and eat them, let alone farm them.

God would also have made there pelts less useful for keeping us warm or softening up the hardest of motorcycle seats.

Vegetarians - people who eat food that can't run away!

It's almost getting to the stage that like the USA our kids will start thinking meat just turns up on supermarket shelves but they have no idea how it gets there.Having had dealings with MAF on a fairly regular basis it doesn't suprise me that they jump on this Shrek thing while turning a blind eye to the things that go on at any farm in the country.
I wonder how the flat footed city dwellers that eat beef would act if they ever had to take part in dehorning two year old steers and bulls with a giant pair of loppers. These animals end up charging about in intense pain with blood pumping all over the place. At times the whole horn root is torn out and you can see their brain through the hole.Never hear MAF or SPCA saying anything about that do we.The meat most people eat comes from animals that live their whole lives in terror of what's going to happen next and then they get to stand in line watching their mates get killed while waiting their own turn.Oh yeah that's after being starved for two days so their systems are cleaned out.I wonder what it feels like to have a rubber ring put round your balls so they fall off after a couple of weeks. The way the lambs leap about crying I think it probably don't feel to good.
At lest the Vegan's have the balls to live their ideals unlike a lot of people today.Iv'e also often wondered how professed christian people justify themselfs while they chew on a nice chop or two.Isn't there some thing in the bible about "Tho shalt not kill"
That one little sentence or command is the major reason why I've never been able to take any of the popular religions today at all seriously.
    I kill things to eat,Deer,pigs,goats,rabbits,phesants,ducks,
I guess I'm going to hell.
Wonder what the Huntin's like down there??

Didn't see it, but it's about time they showed a few realities of life (and death) about food!
Maybe they should have a TV program - "Your Food - where it comes from and how its prepared!"
Shit, then you'd see some Anorexia! - half the population would be too scared to eat!
