    Wish i had a camera

I know there have been a few threads lately about those mini choppers.

I saw a guy yesterday wearing, and i shit you not, safety gear.

He was riding through town with a nice orange helmet and a orange high vis vest.

Unfortunatley he didn't accompany this with the other vital piece of mini chopper saftey gear - a hoodie. No sadly it was a tshirt, jeans and sneakers. First time i had seen a guy on one during the day - or should i say didn't see him cos he was hiding behind a car and only saw him for a second.

So apart from having a laugh at his safety gear it also showed me what everybody has been saying about how hard they are to see.
But whatever I think that if someone wants to take those risks then its up to them.

theres a couple in town that have a mini OCC black widow each...complete with fake nazi type helmets [gag gifts more like] they paid the same PER BIKE as i paid for my gn250...and mines a real bike, lol. had em come into my work...the chick had to use her hand to work the gear shift...musta been funky.

personally, i think they are neat to look at and maybe ride aorund your neighbourhood, but not safe on the streets. if i could afford one...id get one, but only as a conversation piece...not to ride.
its like those mothers who have the little trailer things on the back of the bicycle with the kid in it. last thing you expect is for a push bike to be towing something!

the really happy person is one who can enjoy the scenery when on a detour.

Well, I saw not one but two of them at Mt. Wellington's Countdown parking lot. The bozos were not even wearing helmets. Ah, well, it must be a Darwinian thing.

Nevertheless it was not as a curious sight as a lady on a vespa, wearing a cordura jacket and with pretty looking bare legs. Brrrr....

Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true. People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

but serriously, those things can do up to 90kph MAX alot of them can only do 45-50.

Thats the same speed as a bicycle. You dont see cyclists wearing saftey gear....
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

These mini choppers are our latest attempt at reintroducing natural selection to our society. As such, all mini chopper riders are actively contributing to a stronger gene pool.
