    Resleeve or replate??

What's everyones opinion on this? I got a quote today of $1300 for a new cyclinder that has to come from Japan - Bugger that!!!!!

I got a quote from Antrum in queensland and it's $340 NZD to get it replated and it's about the same to get it sleeved. The bike runs ok at the moment but there is a few scores that concern me.

    What do you guys think?

What he said although the resleeve has the advantage that it can be rebored if you root it again

    Well seen its already stuffed....

Leave it till it goes bang.

    Is it a race bike?

My RM x 250 Has half the Nicacil missing on the exhaust side.

It still runs well and makes good power even for its age and condition!!

This guy is from the states I believe. I'll send it to him. If it fucks out I can always sleeve it.

I think I will leave it till it goes bang. Then I'll do the conrod at the same time.
