Ahhh - redline - that'll be why you young 'uns became small specks in the distance as soon as we hit the long straight.

    Thanks Mav

A good day out today - surprising how much clear weather we had and timed it to perfection by arriving at the pub just as the heavens eventually decided to open up.

By the way how is it that everyone disappeared as soon as we hit the MW, my speedo under-reading or something? Bloody 150cc That bikes got some poke!

All in all a good day - no one binned which is always good. Despite being a bunch of Learners/restricted licence holders it was a good display of safe riding - of course I didn't see what you got up to on the Motorway coz I headed off early.

Well two riders floored it when we got to the m'way, I was at the back,
then you guys were doing 100, and I cruised past at about 110?
got up to a decent speed at one point, (not telling) but you guys never seemed to catch up, never caught the first two either.

Yeah I'm soft i spend all week on a my bike rain, hail or shine so riding in the wet ain't much fun for me. I don't mind riding in the rain i just HATE wet roads.

No use doing it if you don't enjoy it.

You weren't to know beforehand - we got pretty good weather the whole way out - closed in when we got inside the pub (like 15 seconds after the last of us got in!) I got a soaking on the motorway home coz I left early. All in all 7 blokes not a bad turnout for Mav's first organised ride.

    Well done Mav.
