Well, I've gotta wee group going over, we're staying at my sisters place in St Kilda.
So if you're in Melbourne rather than staying at the track...her place!
It's my 40th while I'm there, so will no doubt be quite thirsty!
Failing that....the track!!

I had a call from an old mate in Adelaide, offering accom on the Island !
Just waiting for the details now as they're riding over. Might spot ya there, I'll be wandering around over the 3 days. G.

I'm going over with the Honda Riders Club (hope they don't mind me cheering for Rossi). Just got to book the NZ connecting flights and buy insurance today... Wear some KB gear y'all.

Dude, I would seriously spend the effort & $ trying to find some accom on the island. The trip from Melbourne every day will break you, but esp on race day the traffic has to be seen to be believed.

Preferably on telly. Travelling for several hours at the start & end of each day when you could be drinking or trying to get into a eatatorium. Nah!

Isle of Wight pub in main centre of Cowes is the place to drink. Maybe I’ll go again one day, but went 6 times in a row so got a bit burnt out.

+ the 4 strokes just aren’t the same spectacle.

We're staying at the campervan high ground site (at the track).

Might have to get roaming and swap the roaming number with each other so we can txt ?? Sound like a plan.

Or, I've just been advised that when you arrive in Oz, you get a txt message outlining how to go about txting and calling each other - but this might only apply to Telecom.

Ta for that, but I've been before and know how bad it is, it's just that my sister is away in Europe so her place is my free camp for the week!
I'll see what the weather's like, may even stay under the stars out there Sat night!!!
