Cruise to Kawhia (Sat 19th Aug).

I want to take my old 1100 for a day trip and am planning to leave the Bombay BP at 0930 (so will be there by around 0900ish) down SH 1 to Nagaruawahia to pick up 39 through to Kihikihi and then on to Kawhia.
The pace will be slowish to medium as both my 1100 (old yella) and I are over 25 and stark naked, so this pace will also suit beginners on a road that is challenging, yet scenic and safe. Anyone else got an old girl they want to take out for a whirl.? But dont let that deter those that wish to go fast as you will have the advantage of more time to relax at the stops (more Beer?). Anyone from ROT, TGA, HAM (or anywhere south of the bombays) wishing to come then perhaps a meet at Kihikihi.?

So if yer keen, wander on over to the calender section and put your name up..
    See you there..BIM

SH22 might be a bit much for "Old Yella" (The Bike)

Gidday there Warr, yup the weather is looking promising. Leaving around 0930ish it should take 1:30 to Whatawata and around 2:00 to Kihikihi. So that makes it 1100 at Whatawata and 1130 at Kihikihi. Give or take 15 mins or so.
