Angry So I lost my handlebar clamps...

Yeah that about says it. Stripped the garage down. No sign. worked on the bike last tuesday, and when I come in tonight to finally fix the damn thing, my handlebar clampy piece is missing. Gone.

Yeah I'm really annoyed. Every time, every time.

You sure it's not attached to the bike or in the boot of your car or miss placed inside your tool box
Now search everywhere in the garage where you didn't search.
And if still not found, have a look inside the house .... it's amazing what ends up in there.
Could the bike shop have it?

Look in the most obvious place,if that doesn't work, Forget about it for a while, I've found that this seems to weaken the invisibility shield on the part and it will suddenly reappear. (I also remember spending nearly a week hunting for a missing part only to find it was in the jacket I was wearing at the time). Good Luck!

Have young kids at your place?
Ask them and hopefully they'll remember where they left/saw it last.

yeah we stripped the garage down, moved all the shelves, looked under them, looked in my room, I don't think I've ever taken any bike parts into the house. Asked all the residents of house. 'No sign'... Next plan - take some optrex eye drops, and then stare them down one at a time until they break...

Go through the process again as you would if you were taking it apart for the first time. Try not to think of where you've looked. If you do that then you may look somewhere where you'd naturally put it.
They shall not grow old as we that are left grow old.
Age shall not weary them nor the years condemn.

    we will remember them
