    THAT corner!

Now there was some controversy over this particular corner, but us newbies were all facing the wrong way!

If you look carefully in the 1st photo, you can see Big McJim standing artfully on the road getting ready to snap piccies of riders coming past.

The others are shots of the scenic riders group!

The big meeting point where various members talked shite, ate shite, looked at shite, were shite, you get the general vis a vis!

No piccies of riders in this one, only the important stuff first - bikes! And puhlenty of them!

Awesome vid clips dude!! Feel a bit motion sick after watching.

Makes me realise I am going to be a nana rider forever. I will probably never have the bike or the "balls" to ride like that.

Just takes practice. When i first started riding 'fast' on my ZXR250 I was with another rider that didnt brake much - they just used the engine braking to slow down for corners. This helps you find discover what cornering speeds work, and forces you to enter the corners slower, it also makes your lines smoother through the corner as when you brake it tends to 'stand the bike up'.

Once I had a good idea of this i started braking on the straights before the corner (front only) and that made me a little bit faster as i was carrying more speed longer. If you understand countersteering and know to look through the corner then you're more than halfway there.

Sports bikes are best, but if you got some road rims for your NXR you could put some sticky road/race tyres on it and throw it around real good. My mate has one which is really good for twisties but obviously a little lacking of power.

That camera distorts the speed you would be surprised how fast it looked it you stuck on on your bike.

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

what he said, its 'medium' pace.

Imagine this: we started together on the same stretch of road and you watched me getting further and further away, think about that same speed difference and add it on to the speed of what im doing and you start to get a taste of what some people do on the road - those people I call fast.
