    Yeah, he was a pretty awesome man.

    Can remember that scene in Blues Brothers where he is the owner of that music store and does that massive performance song. That was great.

    Cool Ray son- Hit the road

    It's funny how music trends and stars intertwine with you rlife. Ray Charles burst onto the charts when I was at high school (UK) "Hit the Road Jack". I was an instant fan.Then a string of stuff, biggest hit "Can't Stop Loving You". He visited Auckland for a one night stand over the N.SHore in the 70's can't remember exactly. Couldn't afford to go, was "Busted". Later in life was not so poor, and made the trip to the Mission Vinyards (When? Can't remember, must be over 12 years). He was old, but still had "Gorgia" on his mind. I bought a bottle of wine with his face on it. Never opened it. (Should open it now, but I know it will be past it). Just want to say thanks for the music.
