Wot about steering head bearings as he likes to pop the odd wheelie

Fair enuff, but unlikely on an 06 bike, the 9 never poked it's steering head bearings the whole time I had it, and I may have been quilty of a wheelie or two

Brilliant - you did a great job the day you did this "informally" Spectators really appreciated knowing who was next - (and their bike model, wife's name, shoe size, latest bin ...)

I was at the meeting, I am BusaJims partner. Good to see the Welly crew turnout.

Seriously man can you edit/delete that post! Too much information. It's not just the hills that have eyes around here, as they say. No need to shit in our own sandpit. And some may find that even irresponsible. If I take part in the sprints, as an act of social responsibull-ness I intend to limit my speed to the government recommended 100kph. Just for once it wouldn't hurt the rest of you to try it.

Fair enuff, reference to speed removed. I'll leave the other info as there will always be people who will explore their bikes capabilities. If they feel they must, they might as well do it in a safe (relatively) place and it is the safest place I know of.
If there is a tax agent at the end of the straight and they do not see them, thats the risk they take.
If the tax agent has time to sit there all day on the off chance that is! I've not been there for at least 10 years and I know things change, but I never ever saw tax agents on that road ever or anywhere else of state highway 2 in the rapa. It's not like they don't know what goes on, on the back roads, they are not silly.

For the record straight line speed bores me. But I do need to practice those starts, hence I'll prob be at the sprints.

I've read your post like 5 times now and for all the world it looks like your saying you will be going 100 kph at the sprints. I hope your joking, you will be eating into other peoples run times doing that

No Sugilite it's the reference to the holyland of speed location that worries me, not the reference to speeding.
Good point though. I can build in the allowable tolerance of 11kph to my 100kph runs. Might still better a few peoples times :slap: (don't you just love these little guys)
