    rvf400 rim

    does any1 out there have a or know of where i can get a 17" rear rim from a rvf400? or any1 know of another 17" that will fit on a nc30 vfr400? ive tried heaps of places and no1 has 1.

    Nah either the guy at cyclespot with 4? NC30s or Kwaka Kid who has about the same in various bit would be the local V4 crazies! No 17's though.


    Whats wrong with the 18 anyway? there is plenty of rubber about for it!

    Yeah true, if you are thinking of replacing it for a greater selection of tyres, perhaps don't bother. I swear by my Bridgestone BT-090 tyres. You can get them in an 18" rear. They are the shit, good wet or dry, turn quick and massive amounts of grip. Huge.

    Others swear by the Dunlop GPR70 (?). Or it's successor, whatever that is.

    Both tyres are designed for our lighter bikes.

    Get a GPR70 for it. $300ish from cycletreads on the shore

    thanx 4 all ur help, the main reason i want a 17 is cuz i can get new metzeler extremely cheap and they dont make 18s,

    I think I saw one sitting in Atomic on the shore, btu cant remember what size it was.
