The Sun is Shining - Anybody in Aucks going out Today (13.06)?

    Good Morning to you All

Anybody got a ride planned today? Short notice I know but I will be leaving Autobahn at 10am for a quick loop around maybe S/H 22 or Clevedon, Kawakawa, Miranda.

    Anybody interested, see you there.

After that ride you could pop up to Holeshot where another ride is leaving at around 12-1230
See Robert Taylor for any Ohlins requirements www.northwest.co.nz

Yep, rode state hwy 16 out to the lookout, then back through Old North Road to Coatsville Riverhead and back home.

Fantastic ride. Glad I finally got one in after ages of being unable too! Did anyone else go that route today?

Yes I did, between 1.30 & 3.30pm today. I went up as far as the lookout over the Kaipara harbour (about 10mins from Wellsford) where I chatted with several bikers who were stopped there. Saw 3 other sportsbikes going back down SH16 so I joined them back to AK...was a blast. Quite a few other bikes on the road, saw a group of about 10 at one stage. :spudwave:

I saw this at 12.30, jumped on the bike, but by 10 past 1 there was noone around. Still great day, no need to waste it at home, headed north up through Browns Bay, to Orewa, up to Warkworth and out to Leigh for a pit stop and a bite to eat. Recomend the Bananna cake at the cafe there.

Fool around out to Goats Island reserve, back to Omaha beach, and then on homewards. Slight detour to Manley, honest I meant to go there, it wasn't a wrong turn

Saw a number of bikers on the roads, finished up following a Hog back from silverdale to the motorway onramp.

    Great day for a blat
Speed limits are just a suggestion, like pants.

Yup, heapsa bikes out today. Took Mrs Random and the protobikies (wouldn't 'Mrs Random and the Protobikies' be a great name for a rock band?) out to Muriwai in the cage this afternoon for a bit of mucking around at the beach. Don't think I saw any of you guys on SH16, though. Spent all day wishing I could have headed off with the Holeshot group... oh well.
kiwibiker is full of love, an disrespect.
