Just removed from my bike today. As you can see by the photo, in good condition, appart from a little discoloration on the main body.
Ofcourse it comes with the bracket and bolts.
Make me an offer!![]()

Im not a high performance rider like yourself Mr Poo, so I just cant justify it![]()
What's the mileage on it?
Depends on what price you're offering it for. Basically, as far as I'm concerned, the first thing I'd do with it, is send it of to be reconditioned. Factor the cost of that on top of buying it in the first place and suddenly it might not seem such a great bargain vis a vis buying a brand new item.
IMHO, coz you've actually got it with the bike, you should just keep it, recondition it & use it. In your case, the cost of recontitioning probably wouldn't be to far of the cost of buying a new rotary damper (which itself will need reconditioning if it's second hand). It is by all accounts much better than the original rotary damper.
Mind you, you've obviously already got the rotary damper / some other brand of suspension, so parts of the above paragraph are a moot point.
If the TL is the one that was down in Weillington motorcycles a few months ago, I've already seen the damper & the phrases 'tired' & 'seen better days' spring to mind when describing it.
However I'm not immune to a complete bargain, so what you wanting for it?
If it ain't a V twin, it ain't worth shit.
My bike was not purchased in Wellington but much further up north.
There are no leaks from the unit, so i cant see why anyone would suggest it needs reconditioning. I only took it out because i needed a new spring unit, and decided to go with a bitubo, which is a combined spring and damper.
I was looking for offers around the $800 mark.
