Good to read you got out on the race track, did it improve your road riding much?

Thanks for the welcome.. this site has been reallly cool so far!! it's great getting these messages!! I absolutely LOVED racing the Fireblade.. best day of my life. & I would KILL to get into racing properly.. IF I had a bike..

The XV didn't last long after riding the fireblade.. & being such different riding styles, I can't say it did help my road riding.. UNTIL.. I got the GSXF, being a sport/tourer!!! I really noticed my increased confidence then.. leaning harder into corners & throwing her around more! Being a 400 toy, she's real light.. therefore much easier to throw around.. which I DO EVERY opportunity I get.. lol..!! although.. I did my damdest to touch the footpegs down on the old xv.. & succeeded MANY a time.. lol! A GOOD ride is.. scraping my boots!!

I think that's one of the greatest things this site has to offer - an interested response from other members to what you post, and 'usually' of a friendly nature!

That's understandable.

I've been to 1/2 dozen track days over the last few years and they have been nothing but positive and inspiring, I recommend for anyone who is a reasonably confident rider to at least do one track day to gauge their ability and get better aquainted with the capabilities of their current bike...it's worked for many a KBer!

MYGSXF - welcome aboard....

Now I found this biker over on Trade Me... and was needing help...
So I pushed her over here to KB... and hopefully you lot will help her out.

Its to do with a battery prob for her bike...

Good to see you already know a couple of the bunch here....

howdy!! Hey woman.. I'm glad ya gave me the shove in this direction!! Been great so far.. caught up with a mate from way back!! it's really cool getting messages!! haven't put a battery thread on yet... been too busy trying to find my way around.. lol..!! also tryin to work out how to create my own photo gallery.. I think the photo I uploaded just went to a general members gallery.. any ideas?? TM has been rather quiet round here today...

right then.. time for my beauty sleep...

Its all about madness, sheer bloody madness. KB is an interesting phenomenon, a community that offers you all the spices of life. The rides are great and the pool of knowledge is deep.
