    Rossi Gals Race Report..Round 4!!!

Well, time to hear about the racing from a girls perspective....

Same story as everyone else that morning..loading up early, fighting for a pit etc etc (by the way thanks to Team Piston Broke Racing member Mikey for the pit big help).

Well I decided to go out in scrub in session..no didnt have new tyres or anything, did it just cos i could anyway it was well worth it as i had only been on ma baby once since last round. so here i was cruising round tring to get my head sorted and get comfy on ma bike etc etc when Mr Poos comes flying round the outside coming out of the first corner. i was thinking 'dam he flying'...yup then he was 'flying'... down the track, into the air, into the dirt following his poor bike. dam what a sight! i thought he was gonna keep going straight across and meet me on the other side on the track. seeing the fairings go flying through the air above a cloud of dirt was a sad sight, as that was the end of his day..and scrub ins.

anyway back to the pits to play the waiting game. I hate that bit. but was a good time to catch up with lots of people and news. after having a talk with Johno about the test day the day before, i was wondering just how much faster he had actually gotten since last round. well soon found that out after qualifying..he got poll position!! great job by the way!! I managed to be consistant and got same as last round..8th

    RACE ONE-6 LAPS
Ok so warm up lap then into postion on the grid. i had hoped to be a lil further ahead this time, but no matter. got a good start, not too sure where i was by the first corner, but was toward the front, then got passed by a couple, think i was 6-7th for a while. passed one a lil further in. just as i was settling in a lil, came round my favorite corner to see our race leader johno rolling in the grass..ok so not so good. half lap more coming round the last sweeper onto the pit straight and low an behold but i see the other race leader Mikeys lying on the tyre wall with his bike at his feet. so not such a good start for them. managed a 4th i think in that one..thanks guys

So that wasnt such a great time for my fellow KB'ers. Both mikey and johno came back in, spitits still intack ready to get straight into the repairs needed to continue..well done guys impressive effort. well johno was all good, but some marshell(sp) told mikey that his day was over. such a shame, you were doin awesome!

RACE TWO-12 LAPS (was meant to be 22)
Well got a better start..think i may have even got holeshot..not too sure. but a lot better. only a couple got past this time. still for some reason wasnt feeling quite 100%. not sure why, didnt have time to think of that anyway as i started to have a right ol play with a guy on a duc for 2nd place..sowy not sure of his name etc. but that kept me entertained and on my toes the whole race, what awesome fun. id get passed hed get passed, it was like that till the very last corner where i knew if i could get the right line out and get on the gas a lil earlier id get him. sure enough i came across 2nd behind Jonho who took out a well deserved ! and on a side note, wasnt too annoyed it turned into a 12 laper as i was stuffed by the end of it hehe me unfit!!

So yeah it was a great day, weather held out till the very end, a few drops started to fall as we were watching sugi, daryl and bruce in the last of the superbikes. great effort by all you guys too! a pleasure to watch you guys.
just a big thanks to everyone who helped, and to those who came to support everyone. it makes the day that much better.

anyway my brain is starting to die and my train of thought has gone out the window, so untill next time...

awesome stuff doll...its really awesome to see how consistant you are..and that consistancy pays off..people that crash out may for a short while be quicker..but its consistancy over a whole race that gets results..and all the pro's like shaun.stroud, shiriffs, ree's know this..especially with phenomenal starts!!! thats twice now you've gone from the thrid row on the grid on the out side too first at the first corner...thats a massive advantage you have over fellow compeditors...keep it up...and keep those boy's honest!!!

Mate!! You did brilliantly on those starts!! I got to get out with you and learn a thing or two!!!
Thanks for the big thumbs up as you came around after my off!! Brightened me up a lot!!

Now, about where I passed you in race two, you should have got me, you got power to weight advantage!!
We're gonna have to shadily install an eighth of a turn throttle, then you'll hit full revs quicker me thinks!! LOL

So stoked to see you, you're the essence of a great competitor!!

Thanks for being a good pal!
