    Pack Rack for a 998

Fat Jim is needing some storage facilities on his Ducati 998.

Items that he's looking for, so far include...

    A Pack Rack
    A Tank Bag
    Panniers
and a Touring Wind deflecting screen .

Please remember that this is the Troy Bayliss Replica - so it you have anything that looks bling, I'm sure he'll be happy with it

Also if you have anything else that he might be interested in, just let him know .

Ventura do a pack rack for the 748/916/996/998 family. You'd have to ask them if they'd do a red one.

    Eeeeeuw!

I've got a luvverly STM titanium clutch "cover" (well, calling it a cover is like calling a G-string "knickers"...) but I'm buggered if I want it to be seen on any 998 pimped out with Ventura gear. I can't believe I even used 998 and Ventura in the same sentence together!

If he gets one I'd sugest getting a stronger sidestand as the ducati one will flex a bit .

Also , if it's got wider rear cans / pipes the rack will need modifying a bit.

Here's a pic from a 3500 km tour a couple of years back.
Beats using courier and credit cards to move the gear around.
