How about a "Rides and fun places to go" thread??

    Spank

How about starting a thread for rides and fun places to go? Would make for a change rather than having to bung stuff under "general ravings" or similar...

    Others' thoughts??

    Shhh, beware the fun police!

Hitcher, you'll be getting a visit from the lads shortly. How could you even suggest such a thing?

Especially for peole that didn't join last millenium and can't be bothered trawling threads.

One requirement may be a map attachment though. (or a link to wises.co.nz)

Could it be made into a 'sticky'.

I'd love to know a few of the rides you guys & gals go on. Excellent idea!

    Great idea.

You could include some important info like length and average time of ride at speed limit, experience level required, potential hazards, and important scenery/places of interest.

And then you could add a cool anecdote about the trip along the way too..
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Pretty much only useful if people are going to do full ride reports, but it would help me out immensely instead of doing the same rides over and over until someone suggests sommink else.

One casts one's bread upon the waters and waits for the system administrator ducks to take heed... Alas, there must have been more exciting bread floating by... Depsite an overwhelming poll result too!

    Spankme, you blind??

having a route map of a proposed /planned ride would be pretty cool. again mainly so people who want to join up can do so later

I do know the song well, I just dont see how people could possibly interpret it that way....

Its as bad as "My goat knows the bowling score"

More commonly sung as "Micheal row the boat ashore"
