Crikey! I always knew you were seriously warped! Now you gone and inflicted it on your poor Ginny! Ah well, parts are going to be plentiful and relatively cheap for you.

I guess you must be the Gorilla on a Ginny!

Went to a mechanic today and he reckons that the disk and rim are bent!!!!!!!!! There could be a chance that when I got a decent front tyre that when taking the old tyre off the shop I went to could have bent it. Priced a new rim today and they come in at a whopping $660!!!!!!!!!

Problem is how can I prove it? Or where I can find a good secondhand one

Quick - sell it on Trade me and buy an FXR150........wot? Only kidding - there are a few bike wreckers up on Barry's Point Road - unlikely they'll have front wheels though coz that's the wheel that usually gets munted first.

So $660 for the front wheel? that means the rest of the bike is only worth $2,800 new?

I'd get some second opinions from other suzuki dealerships man.

you could possibly have the wheel straightend!? ,theres a couple of cage wheel repair shops around that may be able to do it . Cost me $100 to have a 17" mag repaired (had quite a big kink in it) .

I had a lot of fun riding SH16 from Wellsford to Hellensville. Plenty of sweeping bends and good road.

No kidding about well monitored, Woodcocks used to be awesome before the police swarmed it. Im also quite a fan of scenic drive. For 50kph jollies Beach rd is great, theres always some cager moping along at 40 though. Fern Glen North has some challenging corners (as long as a cager doesnt decide that he prefers your side of the road ) and Glendowie is good fun for mucking around in.

Don't do it Mav you don't want to look like your organising a hero parade instead of a ride
