Red face Strange Request - Audio Tape Conversion

    Greetings all,

I am in dire need of some help.....I have re-discovered one of my old audio tapes from a band called V.O.D. (Voice Of Destruction) and would really love to have this tape converted to an audio CD or MP3. Does anyone know of a company or someone who could do this for me? I know I can do it on my PC with the right equipment but I don't have the right audio equipment nor the time to do it.

If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.

    Cheers
    John

I assume you mean a regular domestic tape cassette, if you mail it to me I can get it transfered to CD at work in one of our audio suites, and I can then post it back to ya, no charge. PM me and I'll give you my work addy if you want.

Can't you just download it from a P2P network? It may be easier than searching for the proper equipment. Just my $0.02

People's heads are full of knowledge, facts, and beliefs, and most of it is false, yet they think it all true ... they can only rarely tell the difference between a lie and the truth, and yet they are confident they can, and so all are easier to fool." -- Wizard's First Rule

Dude, I could do it for you. I have the hardware and software. Send me a PM if you're keen. We could probably sort something out for this weekend if that suits.

Its a link to a file on the ED2k P2P network.

I just searched for the band you wanted.. There are literally thousands and thousands of full length metal albums floating around :-)

Thanks for offering dude, Dawnrazor has helped me out so far, but it's good to know someone with all the right gear to sort this kind of thing out.
