    2000 R6

this bike is a backroad hooligans dream. fast as hell and handles like a razorblade. the sound is awesome. one of the fastest bikes i've ever owned. easy to lean over & feels very light, in fact substantially lighter than other bikes with similar claimed weight.
A really lively machine that gets pretty light up front especially on bumpy roads. this can work both ways as the flightyness can be a little unsettling. the front wiggles around and it can get a little slappy. huge fun to ride. it chews the gas though (still carburated in 2000). it would give me sore legs after longer rides, but it's not designed as a tourer.
excellent quality fit & finish and great to work on. ugliest airbox ever designed. brakes are excellent, forks are still right way up in 2000. rims are NOT white Yay!! less cleaning. 8-) would make an awesome race bike. sure to bring a grin to the face and the metallic blue is sooo nice too.
    later 8-).

The only reason I only ride in the Iron man Class is I have no friends left to enter the two man events,
    my own fault really.

    Or D'Auckland.
    I;ll should be "I'll"
    peole should be "people"
    Wellytown should be "Wellington"
    apawlling should be "appalling"
    2 should be "to"

No thanx necessary; it's a slow day at work.
    ... and that's what I think.

    Or summat.

    Or maybe not...

    Dunno really....

Thanks very much for the offer Dave, but I'm such a useless rider i'd be too scared of crashing it. anyways MR did it justice with a mega-fantastic writeup. maybe catch up sometime for a cruise down the infamous 22.
