    Superb.
    Also interesting points for:
1/ CaN... Police only receiving one side of the story...
2/ Hitcher... using present tense instead of past tense?

    Funny.

I know a pedestrian can't just step out and expect a car to stop in time but legally don't turning vehicles have to give way to pedestrians? I though pedestrians crossing the road at an intersection had right of way over turning vehicles.

It was an email doing the rounds at work today, so thought I'd share it. I have nothing to do with, nor know, any of the parties mentioned here.

Thats only at light controlled intersections as peds get the little green man whilst some could turn in to them.

Try driving during daylight hours at Auckland Uni... many a young pedestrian wanting to be clipped by a passing vehicle.

I find that keeping the R6 in first gear as i ride past, then briskly lifting the front wheel 1m+ into the air tends to have the same effect on a group of stupid pedestrians as Moses did on water,

It's better to not pass and know that you could have than to pass and find out that you can't. Wait for the straight.
