The green rep promotes the feeling of cameraderie and unity that should be bikers - even us ghey blokes on Hondas!
Was that you on the Kawhia ride the other weekend? Top marks with your efforts on the 250. Looked like you were having a great time

And agree with what you said too. ..... But what'u saying about Honda's

Dunno, probably I'm not perfect after all. - I put everything in my first post - I wound him up. I don't think he likes being called inlinefag, but that's not the point. There's nothing wrong with a difference of opinion, and some post-posting mudslinging, and some bad rep-ititus for a while.
But 5 months....? I mean grow up ffs. Get a life

After an absence of a month or so, I check my rep only to see repeated bad rep from one single member. Now I obviously wound him up in some way or another, but after 5months wouldn't you just let it go?

Thoughts please, I'll check them next month.

    Till then

ps - see attached rep chart.
There are allways two sides of the story, but I guess your only interested in yours eh. Yea I recieved the same thing from you for awhile. Big deal. Mods sort it out, why? I guess you needed to have a cry about it eh? 20 days after the fact and your carrying on about it, go figure...

    re rep & post count

yeah it seems a bit silly Matt,

there is another site started up which is trying to improve on the crap that we are seeing on Kb lately, They have stopped the silly rep thing and are also looking at maybe getting ride of this post count nonsense, and while a few of the plonkers from here have wandered over it seems to be going ok.. I still like KB for the reasons you mention in the start of your thread and will stick with it, don,t forget the ignore button I use it on both sites, and have found that it fucks people off more than any witty or sarcastic reply or rep that you can respond with.It seems people can;t get there head round the fact that they can be ignored.

have sent you pm, am on nights thursday night pop in if your on duty.

after reading Mattts posts in that original thread that started it all I can totally understand why Inlinefour would do what he has done...even feel like doing it myself (but then I get over it ), pretty ridiculas shit there Mattt, but what would be the point in starting a war.
maybe you have both grown up a bit since then huh?

Thanks but wasn't me on the run to Kawhia - I was on the Kaiaua run on Saturday..mind you I did have fun right enough.

As for hondas - I am so heterosexual and so comfortable with my sexuality that I don't suffer from homphobia at all. Therefore if someone says my bike is Ghey I assume their just complimenting me on how clean and tidy it is!

Why should we? if a few of the members acted there age and showed a bit of respect towards each other we wouldnt need to do any moderating.
    Wouldnt that be great!!
Ive run out of fucks to give

How I see it - I dont care what someone has done to piss you off there is no excuse to abuse the rep system, its here for people to express their views about others comments, be that agreement or not! People handing out tons and tons of the stuff to one person just defeats the object. It then makes the rep system worthless... what was set up to bring enjoyment has now once again been missused until it becomes something I dont see the value of.

This tit for tat stuff needs to stop... I reckon people need to grow up a little bit and realise not everyone will always get on with everyone else, thats life, no needs to abuse things - and this goes for everyone not just Inline as I have dealt with a few of these cases lately.

Rep is to show appriciation or disagreement with a POST. Its not for abusing a member or to lay personal attacks. Because of that, rep is an intresting thing. Everyone gets really upset when recieving red rep because they subconciously think of it as a challenge.

Everyone loves green rep because it reminds them of apples and everyone likes apples

Yeh nicely put Dave. It seems that the people most affected by hitting the ignore button are the ones that live their lives and dreams online, while the rest of us are out there in the real world making things happen. It's what has brought down the site to this level.
Maybe the real rep counter should be the odometer reading on our bikes - it might weed out a few of these so called 'opinion-experts'.
Anyway enough typing - there a very young evil asian thing locked up in my garage that likes to be cained....

People who resort to that sort of shit need to grow some fucking balls and say what they need to in public.

Childish vendettas using red rep as your armoury make you look like a total fucktard.

I may be a total fucktard but I'd rather be upfront and open about it, not hide like a scared little bitch pinging red rep.

Went through this shit with several members recently. Abusive PM's from them and real nasty comments with the reds. Those members were sinbinned, but as soon as they could were back at it. Getting it out in the open wasn't an option (eh Joni??). Apart from the obvious privacy issues (phone nos etc), if it can't be said in an open forum = don't say it.
Do you realise how many holes there could be if people would just take the time to take the dirt out of them?
