Congratulations Taz. Well done, you were busting your guts that day and deserve to hang that cert. high on your wall. Awesome achievement. Of course yellow is known to be a faster colour!

Everyone knows red is the fastest colour, Pink decals help too when you're pushing 250kg of bike to 253.31km/hr. I'm undecided wether to enter again, although I could run with 20 odd litres less fuel, 5psi extra in the tyres and an extra cup of coffee for breakfast. Throw in $50 for a front sprocket and I could get to 275?? We'll see.

A BIG THANKS TO WHOEVER DROPPED OFF MY CERTIFICATE TODAY Deano??

Dropped a few cert's off yesterday - the rest are in the post. Sorry for the delay.

The 'web master' has the raw results and will post on the website very soon.......won't you Mr Webmaster ?

    www.cliffhanger.org.nz

Last night's meeting with the organisers went pretty well - a good amount of money raised and suggestions for improvement were considered.

Discussion about which venue was 'better' arose, and Dalefield Road was accepted as much better spectator wise - the viewing is not as good as E-W Access Rd, but a lot more spectators were at Dalefield Road, possibly due to proximity to Carterton. Facilities at Dalefield also better.

November sprints will be at Dalefield Road as it's already booked, but I suggested asking the entrants for feedack afterwards. They are also going to look at other possible and suitable roads, so if you have any ideas yourself, please speak up.

Bear in mind the length, trueness, smoothness of the road and proximity to town and any facilities.

    Oh yeah.

    We need.....

Riders who entered and willing to do a 'profile' for Wairarapa Times Age.

Marshalls and various helpers (running errands and sausage sizzling) etc.

Please PM me if you can assist with any of the above.
