My mate only just told me about this. 30 bucks for entry and another 15 for a day licence? (my race licence expired last June, bugger)

Sorry guys I didn’t get very many piccy's (but the ones I did get where from quite faraway)… was too busy writing down the times, and getting a wet ass. I got some shots of Viki and Julie though…. Awesome girls!! Hope you like the pictures.

Bruce and Slingshot (aka baggy pants) swapped pants for the day. Lets just say that Bruce's pants are hard to fill.

Photo 1 - Viki (look at that crap weather)
    Photo 2 - Viki again
    Photo 3 - Julia

Opps sorry they are so big... computer illiterate

Despite the weather turning sour, I think it was a pretty good day. I take my hat off to those that continued doing flying 1/4 runs on a sodden road. Thanks for supporting the event - hope you all had fun, and glad you were all able to get a prize.

Tazman retained his 600cc 'title' (from September) with 263 kph.

Tony Sampson did not beat the NZ record (307kph), but did manage 303.65 kph despite the wet conditions.

Thanks to the sponsors - Quasimoto Accessories, TSS Motorcycles, Motomart, Motul Oil, Sky City Cinemas

Thanks again to those who helped with marshalling/timekeeping/sausage sizzling etc - Limbimtimwim, Lissa, UncleB, Fizzerman (mc), Nikki. (Sorry if I forgot anyone.)

Anyone with photos please post them up.

Good effort Deano & Mrs Deano for sorting a good day. A mixed bag of adventures really. Fastest I've been in the wet thats for sure.

The ride back over the hill was lairy so say the least.

Oh well see ya for the normal sprint shenanigans on Sunday then.

A big thanks too all the marshalls too. Bruce and Limbimtwim you guys looks damn pissed wet through. Good on ya.

A good bunch and I'm glad we have cunts like that around to sort days like this for us. Well done.

Except for the MC he was crap.

Well what a wet, windy day it was......bloody good fun.
Hats off to those who gave the flying a go in such conditions.

Cheers to the Deano's and cliffhanger promo for organising the event.

Thanks to all the other marshalls, organisers and spectators for supporting this event.....and thanks Lissa for the pics.

Next up the Gladstone Hill Climb.

Faaarrk, you guys were still doing flyings in that crap weather?

Mad props, Tony must have big bollocks to be going 300+ in bad conditions on that road

Looks like you had fun guys...sorry I could make it. Good on the organisers. Deano and Nikki put in a lot of effort for these events for no reward.

See y'all at the hillclimb!!! (or the pub if you prefer).
