    auckland riding course(s)

Please read all info below and PM me your full name, and contact details (phone number, address) if you want more information or would like to put your name forward for a course.

We have enough spaces at present on the following courses.

    June 20
    July 18
    August 15.

Course cost is $45.00 per person, this includes the Road Code and
    Course Notes.
You will have to bring your lunches with you as we do not let anyone out to the local shops to get them at Lunch time, but you can
purchase it before the Course starts.

If any have already done the Course, there is no charge for doing it
again, but you do not get a Road Code.

Its real fun and a lot of experienced riders do it when they change bikes, definitely worth it. It is quite heavily subsidised by the councils and, I think, ACC-.
AGAIN, please PM or me your name, contact phone number and address, and also your rego number.

    cheers

No way! They wouldnt teach people how to *actually* ride before you get your learners!!! Emergency braking and countersteering!!! thats too much for anyone who cant ride a bike, we'll let them learn when they are ready to ie when a car pulls out infront of them on the road!.....In the meantime they teach you to stay upright and prove that you can turn, and you dont need to go faster than 30kmh
Queiro voya todo Europa con mi moto.... pero no tengo suficiente tiempo o dinero.....

Me and my brother did this course a couple of months ago, I thought it was really good. I took a few photos and posted them after the course, they're still up, so here they are again for anyone that's interested:

    Cool

Are these courses still going ahead?

I PM'ed all my details but haven't heard anything back.

Learning to ride is fun ay... Today I learnt that it is best to pull the sidestand up BEFORE riding off. Probablyscared the shit out of the pedestrians waiting at the corner of Queen Street when they heard me coming

    Ah well...

D'oh, oh well been there done that. Just you wait till you forget it on the open road, or better still you hit a pot hole hard enough to extend the stand while at highway speeds about to tip in to a hairpin..... Now that creates some suction.
