    Oil throttle cable.

Done the clutch cable but how the do I gain access to the throttle cable?

What do I need to remove to gain access?
Do I have to drop the front brake system and therefore bleed air out of it?
What happens when I undo the few bolts at the base of the throttle handle? Will it safely open up and allow access to cable?

    Thanks.

Most bikes are a similar design to the one in the attached pic (TL1000)...... Removing the two screws will give access to the throttle drum which the cable is attached to.You might need to back the adjusters off if it is a dual (push/pull) cable throttle. If it is single cable it should be easier...Nothing will spring out when the case is split.

Thanks a lot for the picture!

Oiled up the throttle cable during the weekend and it's all so smooth now.

What I discovered looked exactly the same as the picture. Was a single cable setup but had support for dual push/pull arrangement. These throttle handles must be common among most bikes then.
